grate·ful/?gr?tf?l/ – Adjective: Feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful.
Yes, waking up with a head cold is a drag. However today I am reminded to be grateful that a cold is all I am having to endure. There is one young woman who reminds me often what being grateful really means and what it is to be inspired by another. Last December I got the pleasure of photographing ‘Johanna Olsen’ doing what she loves to do – running – BLOG.
Now, a year later Johanna has been through yet another brain surgery and endless months of chemotherapy. Still she continues to inspire and amaze others. Even through all this Johanna has been out training and will be running the TWIN CITIES MARATHON with her family next month. Johanna doesn’t complain, she doesn’t feel sorry for herself or asks for much. She radiates her heart and soul and by doing so she inspires all those around her. What a gift she gives!
You can read more about Johanna and her amazing strength in her blog – click here.
If you are not able to run a marathon there is still a way to support and run along side Johanna when she runs her marathon. I know this run will be the most important run of her life.

Thank you Johanna for showing us your love for running and teaching me that I do have the strength to run 13.1 miles and the strength to handle whatever may come my way!
