A surprise visit from a Hummingbird….. by Bend Oregon Portrait Photographer

Lately I have been seeing the occasional Hummingbird darting by my window and I thought and even expressed how amazing it would be to photograph one.  A feeder to attract them was on my to do list.

However yesterday I heard a BANG! on my front window. Knowing a bird had hit I went out front to see if there was a stunned or dead bird to attend to. To my amazement there was an ever so tiny Hummingbird lying there alive but stunned.

Quickly I  ran for my camera for this  rare opportunity.

I would have to say Hummingbirds have a beauty of their own. Their delicateness and vibrant colors  were a joy to capture.

Thank you little birdie for coming for a photo shoot!
